NorthQuest 5654 is a dry, tetra sodium salt of Phosphonobutane Tricarboxylic Acid (PBTC). This white, powdered form of PBTC-Na4 is used primarily as a scale inhibitor, deflocculant, sequestrant, and water stabilizer in cooling-water systems.
