Description

Diethylenetriamine Penta Methylenephosphonic Acid, (DTPMPA) works well as a scale inhibitor and dispersing agent for use in industrial water treatment programs represented by the formula C₉H₂₈N₃O₁₅P₅; when used at high alkali and temperatures (above 210°C) it is more effective than other phosphonates. DTPMPA is a very good inhibitor of the precipitation of barium sulfate.
