Description

Morpholine is a colorless, hygroscopic liquid free of suspended matter represented by the formula: C₄H₉NO. It is miscible with water and almost all common organic solvents, and is slightly soluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons. Morpholine is most commonly used as a chemical intermediate in corrosion inhibitors and steam boiler systems. Applications also include; pharmaceuticals, textiles, rubber, catalysts, plasticizers, dyes, agricultural and photographic chemicals.
