Description

Cyclohexylamine (CHA or Cyclo) is a clear, colorless liquid free of suspended matter represented by the formula: C₆H₁₃N. It is miscible with water and almost all common organic solvents. Cyclohexylamine is used as a corrosion inhibitor in boiler feed water and has important applications as a chemical intermediate in insecticides, dry-cleaning soaps, gas absorbents, rubber chemicals and plasticisers.
